I have to vent

I own my own company. I love being my own boss. Some people are just nasty a**holes. One of my clients called yesterday screaming at me for something that turned out to be TOTALLY UNRELATED to my service. The problem was with one of his office staffers. Ok,I can take it with the best of them but don't call yelling at me for something that has nothing to do with me. I think the thing that ticks me off the most is that this particular physician goes on frequent rants, all while proclaiming to be "a good Christian"..don't even get me started~I just have to remember that for every one like this guy, there are 20 that I get praise from for doing a great job-so why does it bug me so much that this guy is a jerk?

At least if that guy complains, your boss can't get mad at you!

I have heard it said that we could have 99 compliments but we would still remember the 1 negative remark.

It's the negative ones that due you in. Most of my communication with my customers is via email and I hate it because you can't sense the "tone" of the conversation. More than once I've had myself worked up over someone else being worked up and they weren't even worked up to begin with.

I'd like a job that I didn't have to deal with anyone... that would be nice.

Of course, that would make me even more anti-social... lol.

Hi,

I went back and read the Aug. post about your Bosco, I'm so sorry for your loss. We had to put our other Boston Terrier to sleep a little over a year ago and it was the hardest thing ever.

I hope you and your family are doing well, and that you enjoy a fabulous holiday!

Thanks for your comment :-)

because jerks ARE annoying! And self-righeous ones even more so!

Maybe it will help to remember that he is stuck with himself ALL the time. He deserves it!
